Con motivo de la defensa de monografías de alumnos del tercer ciclo y la media del Colegio American de la Universidad Americana, destacados escritores paraguayos se dieron cita en el salón auditorio el 14 de septiembre para acompañar a los estudiantes quienes expusieron acerca de sus obras.Nelson Aguilera, Renée Ferrer, Guido Rodríguez Alcalá, Luís Hernáez, Lita Pérez Cáceres, María Isabel Barreto, Alejandro Hernández y von Eckstein, entre otros destacados autores, estuvieron presentes durante las exposiciones, como así también, alumnos de los diferentes cursos y profesores de las otras áreas.El Prof. Edward Aldana, responsable del Área de Literatura del Colegio American fue el encargado de coordinar la defensa de las Monografías de los alumnos. El primer alumno disertó sobre los libros de Guido Rodriguez Alcalá, tocando su ideología y los temas de sus obras. Luego, el autor en persona acotó algunas palabras sobre su bibliografía, y dedicó un mensaje a los jóvenes presentes.Durante toda la semana continuarán las defensas.
